Slipped on the ice on February 8, 2014 and broke my nose while wearing these shoes. Walked into Nordstrom to have lunch with Ande and had to stop a second to evaluate the situation. Are these floors slick or just shiny? I was happy to discover the latter.
I have learned that certain shoes are better for certain conditions but I slipped on mushy snow when I was wearing my best ones suffered a minor head injury. So sometimes it's the shoes but sometimes it's just bad luck.
Stay alert and be careful!

It happened two weeks ago after 3 days if heavy rain fresh snow was on the ground the morning after. I just slipped on a tiny spot of shiny ice underneath.
Bad luck I guess!
