It was fun going with Ms. Wilde to her step-daughter Allie's bridal shower. Although I didn't know anyone except Allie, her sister Anne and Michelle, it was still a nice afternoon. Chicken salad on croissants, fresh fruit, lots of desserts and mimosas made for a yummy lunch. They passed around coasters that you write on and asked everyone to give Allie a bit of advice. I wrote, "Be happy. Compromise. You don't have to win every battle to win the war." I figured after 36 years of marriage I learned something. 😃 Happy Wedding, Allie!
