After a morning walk to Grange for breakfast and a family selfie photo session we left Hamburg at noon for the start our lighthouse hunting adventure. We had eight to see before we were due in Cleveland for dinner at 8:00.
Beginning in Buffalo the first one and its pier were closed for restoration. Was it a sign? We had a tough time finding some of the lighthouses this time. We managed to find six of the eight before we ran out of time. We'll have to catch Conneaut and Ashtabula the next time we drive to see Becca and Jon.
The Presque Isle Light was the last one we saw today. It was way out on the tip of a peninsula in Lake Erie. We were lucky the weather was so nice. A great day for lighthouse hunting for our anniversary and Memorial Day weekend.
