Buying a new car is a lot of work. I have researched, test driven and compared. We wanted a Crossover SUV so I had a lot of work to do to learn the market.
I narrowed the field down to 10 and finally decided on the Mazda CX-30 Turbo at Kings Mazda. Even with the chip shortage, I found what I wanted. The white car with white interior (I can't stand how hot my black car is in the summer) that wasn't sluggish. I like a peppy ride.
Of course, I have doubts still. I'm giving up the manual transmission I've had in every car I've driven since 1980. I'll have to learn how to drive an automatic and get used to a "high" car. I felt the CX-30 Turbo was sporty with the black cladding and 250 horsepower. I am hoping it's the best of both worlds.
The car gets delivered this Wednesday. I am excited and nervous at the same time.
