If you take bus number 2 to the centre you mostly drive pass buildings on both sides of the street but when the bus crosses the river you get the unexpected view of it and the floodgate. I was once in the same bus as two tourists who didn't know where they were going and they made a long 'wooow', when the view suddenly appeared.
It was a rainy day, obviously. :D
