This is one scene that caught my eye while out at Blue Rocks to photograph the painters (who were all facing the sea...) I'd even love to return and photograph this at different times of day... I've photographed this from the other side over the years and it continues to be ignored and overgrown...yea! I'd want to cry if someone came and cut these grasses!
Yes, I added a couple of textures to give this the overall look of having been manipulated (artistically, I hope...I was inspired today...)
I agree, Louise. I bet this is one of those spots that takes on the "mood" of the day or season. You've captured it well here. I, for one, would love to see more of it on another day in different lighting. I love finding places like that!
I have a great uncle and a first cousin who were both very well known and professional artists whose paintings brought/bring some royal prices. I didn't get any of their talent. Neither did my mother. I asked her one time, in jest, where was she when God passed out artistic talents to the family. "I was holding the door open", she laughed.
