Over a week ago, a casual conversation with a dog walker led us to place this event on the calendar. At the top of our street is Blockhouse Hill where the meetup was to be. We heard they hoped to have 200 participants, but the 57 seemed an admirable number! I have dozens and dozens of photos, but couldn't select a representative "one". We'd driven to the hill-side meeting place, so when they started down the street, we hurriedly drove back in time to catch them coming up the street & passing by our house. When they'd gone by, we got back in the car and drove up to the Academy where they gathered for a group photo, a photographer on a ladder. It was a terrific morning and a lot of happy people and dogs.
When it broke up, we had an hour to go down to the docks for the day's next big event, the Wooden Boat Festival... (Disneyland's got nothing on us!)
Wow. You guys are having way too much fun in Lunenburg. Can surely see why you love it there. This is definitely an event I'd like to have seen. Were all the dogs Goldens?
