So Let the Sun Shine In ...

(are you humming the tune yet?)

After heavy winds & a drenching rain overnight, this was what greeted us this morning! (Ken told me to get the camera and come to the window!) I loved what I saw, and tonight when I paired the images, I went with a high contrast as I thought the flat planes of brilliant colour suited the image and the memory of the sun-splashed morning!

The rain brought back warmer temperatures as well!
this is really striking

A co-worker of mine must have been in your area as she brought back several boxes of cookies, I believe Canada True, True Maple Cream Cookies from Nova Scotia. I haven't talked to her yet but I wanted to ask her where she's been. What a glorious day you have in store

@golftragic Ken was "underwhelmed" with my interpretation of this scene he had pointed out, but I knew I could count on you! His comment was that those weren't the "real colours"...I suppose he thought that was good enough for a photo...and it was. But I saw this as akin to a painting with those beautiful planes of fabulous colour...to each his own! Personally, I'd break this down even more...maybe use the torn paper filter in Photoshop... ...off down the The Rabbit Hole! (and this is why I can never forge ahead!)

@digitalrn I look forward to hearing what your co-worker has to tell you! How thoughtful of her to bring a box of cookies back for her colleagues! (Yes, this day was fabulous...culminating with the sunset dandelion...and today is looking to be much the same! Even went out for morning photos as the sun was rising!)
