@jack4john Thanks, John! They are, indeed "wild", though they probably suspect how much I love having them frequent the yard, leaving them food daily. I had to pick one representative photo here, but have some that include the doves and finches with the duck and the cats strolling by as the squirrel enjoyed his treats... I love that I can share "my space" with so many "wild things"!
@kerristephens@aponi@kathyboyles Thank you all! I DID get some nice photos of the flowers, but was entertained until the sun went down with all the little visitors!
A great and funny shot.
If I make a food place like this there will be one visitor. : The Corvidae birds. How many feeders I`ve try for the little birds I can `t tell. They are very clever and always win. I`ve seen they fly and hit them so the seeds fall out and than they eat it from the ground
@lisamccloskey I hadn't seen it that way until you pointed it out! How funny! I was just fascinated that they hung out together!
@colorfade I was going to show you a previous photo http://365project.org/Weezilou/365/2015-05-25 but I see both are different from today. Can't exactly call them "buddies"...I just watch the the right moment and try to come up with a creative title!
@chard They all really are my babies, aren't they? And BTW, we have a new visitor to the yard, a very friendly tabby I'm sure belongs to someone. But he comes in to visit and will sit in my lap, so I call him "Fred" also. My "Fred's" have to qualify by "not being mine" but they're friendly and like to cuddle :)
@pyrrhula I had to Google the Corvidae birds, but I suspected I could guess. The images showed crows, ravens, blue jays and starlings...and yes, any of those would take over the food plate, given the chance! Surprisingly, our large black crows are somewhat timid, so I put peanuts on the ground for them. We only have blue jays and starlings in Nova Scotia, but yes, they eat everything in the feeders! I do enjoy watching them & they let me photograph them, so I'm okay with that! ...Thanks for liking my photo...I loved watching them!
