The boys had a very fine Christmas morning indeed. They were beyond excited at the many toys to be had and Tenaya (shown here) will absolutely NOT let anyone touch his new fave.
Meanwhile, Moki had decided he didn't need to wait for the rest of us this morning. We woke up to the "squeak, squeaks" of a gift we knew Santa had wrapped and sure enough. He had inexplicably managed to pull his own stocking down and proceeded to unwrap his gifts and eat his bone before we woke up. How like a child. Stupidly, I didn't get a snapshot of the scene before us with all the paper strewn about (none of our gifts were touched!) It was just too frickin' funny!
OMG I love this - it makes me want to get a dog! Tenaya has such gorgeous eyes. A wonderful, cheering shot. Love the story about Moki too - when I was a kid our little Jack Russel would find a way too.
Oh wow! What a clever little soul! They really are man's best friend. This is a lovely shot! Love the angle and the depth you've used to get this one. Hope he enjoyed the rest of his Christmas. So cute!
dogs are the greatest! at least when they get that look of mineminemine its because they are completely passionately in love with their bone or toy- its not greedy its just intense infatuation. This is such a great portrait- you can tell he is full of love, for you and for the bone!
OMG! This is the cutest shot....and your story produced a lot of snorts and giggles at my family's Christmas gathering. Thanks for sharing your holiday surprise. :-)
dogs are the best subjects to shoot aren't they? I wonder what they are thinking when we constantly stand in front of them with this thing in our face peering at them?
