Went on a retreat Friday evening with a few lady friends. This attractive log cabin was the view we had from the cabin we were occupying. It is hard to find places of solitude in our busy world... It was refreshing to get away!
@tristansmum Thank you, Stephanie! :-) Log homes are my favorite! We lived in one which we built ourselves, for ten years in Montana... They are so cozy, especially when heated by wood stove.
@edorreandresen Thanks, eDorre! Amazingly, there was not one motorized sound the 24 hours we were there! The two cabins sit well back in the woods of a large Christian camp. It was the perfect place to retreat from the hubbub of life!
