These are a few of the pumpkins we grew this year. We had to let them ripen indoors after the weather became too cold to let them remain on the vine. Although they are not the "pie pumpkin" variety, my husband cooked some of the same down last year, and we discovered that the puree makes wonderful pumpkin pies! Spoiled me for ever buying canned pumpkin ever again! Happy Thanksgiving this coming Thursday to all my fellow American 365ers!
