Congratulations Nadine for winning the Upside-down theme.
I spoke to Nadine this weekend...
This week’s theme is ‘On the Street’ - Street photography, in the broad sense of the term, as I know some of us live in countries where the rules are strict.
street-photographers.com defines it well: "Interesting imagery, from a public and everyday surrounding, in a decisive moment, and containing people or something related to people." The people in your shots do not have to be distinguishable.
I had never tried street photography until I joined this site and was inspired by some incredible shots I’ve seen on 365, so hopefully this theme will inspire some fresh 365ers to give this exciting form of photography a go. And you don’t even need a fancy camera. In fact, those with a point and shoot may be at the advantage here.
Cheers and thanks to everyone who voted for my upside down shot!

@Scrivna
I'm hoping for at least one bench life shot to make the top 5! No pressure or anything!
Can't wait to see the entries, love a bit of street photography!

How would your eye be able to focus on something, when it doesn't know what you are looking for? The first thing on every street tour is a solid plan, what you want to focus on today. This can either be a "Color", a certain item like "Bags", a body part like "Feet" or a kind of composition or light situation (e.g. "Backlight"). With this information on your mind you will walk differently through the streets and you will ob-viously look differently at the things you will see.
Captured this group of DisneyWorld security guards walking on a Disney street
Captured this photo from the by-pass while on my way home from work..the apartment building was on fire and the Emergency crews were there in full force.
It is also listed in the description of the theme introduction....just sayin'.
Maybe the phrase "street photography" would have been more specific. Adding "on the" changes things a bit, I guess.
I hope you all like this... I ran really fast to capture it, haha!
The Kiss
Very handsome but unfortunately made of plastic
