Walking round the block again before work. My sister's partner N was popping round later so I picked up some extra nibbles from the Tesco Express.
Logged in and tried to make headway on the recruitment preparation for next week. Noticed the delivery guy come round with what looked like R and C's flowers though I couldn't see what he did with them - he certainly didn't knock. Later when R came out I realised that he hadn't posted the 'letterbox' flowers through the door - he'd just left them outside in the garden to get sodden in the rain. Nice.
N arrived around 6.30ish for a nice evening of chat. Entertainingly realised we didn't have a) any proper prosecco just some strange sparkling wine and b) any vegetarian crisps - Dave having bought turkey and beef flavoured on the basis that they wouldn't actually contain any real meat. Well they did have some kind of extract. We ate them anyway not being that fussy. Along with dips, olives, pizza and flatbreads - and a fair bit of the cheese board and some chocolate. Not so much to drink though as he was driving. So very full after - proper eating must start tomorrow.
Irritatingly, I forgot to give N his and my sister's present from my other sister.
@pogodragon oh that's really nice of you to say. I actually just pointed and shot for a few seconds, catching several shots in sequence - then just chose the best one!
