At Shri Lakshmi vegetarian South Indian restaurant - dal, two curries, chapatti, rice, samosas and halwa. Thinking of what to eat tonight, I suggested we try this place. I'd passed it a few times and it's been getting quite good press. We both went for the thali so could try a bit of everything. Very nice and incredibly good value.
One of our successful candidates for our vacancies has accepted the offer and I spoke to her today. No news from the other, more stronger, candidate - tried phoning her but no answer. Hope we haven't lost her.
And finally have the plumber booked in for Monday week. Spoke to him and the tenants to discuss timings and what's involved. Cue plenty of worry and panic about him cocking everything up and flooding the downstairs flat.
And Dave came back worrying as it looks like they're not going to replace Julie's vacancy but get a different role in who'll be more of a manager - with the possibility of Dave having to work at different fairly far flung locations.
