A rather dingy chair on the towpath, maybe belonging to one of the houseboats. A cold day but decided to take myself off for a bike ride at lunchtime, knowing I wouldn't get out otherwise. A loop down on to the marshes and up the towpath.
A calm day at work considering I was the only manager in. Got my member of staff's request for permanent homeworking sent on to the head of unit.

1. Towpath sights and smells - osteospermum burgeoning and atmospheric wood smoke from the barges.
2. F has finished his last exam - thinks this one went very well.
3. Feel good film Ride Like A Girl about the first female jockey to win the Melbourne Cup.
