Willow

There is some kind of corgi trail on - don't know anything about it, just came across this one in Cardinal Place. Willow apparently.

In the office uncharacteristically for a Monday - so newbie could shadow me on the Inbox. She's coming along fine actually - and we were amazingly quiet. Thank goodness as there was only one other experienced staff member in.

Blazing hot again and checked in on mum a couple of times. An amber heat alert has been issued for Sunday.

Sister S in Ireland now has COVID. Generally mild.

3 good things
1. An air conditioned office.
2. Watermelon after coming in from a hot walk from the station.
3. Sitting in the garden in the warm evening, smells of barbecues wafting around.

I believe they are part of the Jubilee celebrations to commemorate the corgis owned by the Queen.

Reminds me of the elephant trail a few years ago. Probably this is for the Jubilee. Cute!

A lovely colourful corgi. This kind of trail has become quite popular in recent years. You have my sympathy with the heat. Katharine has been in London visiting our daughter Lucy for a week. She has enjoyed her time with our family, but is looking forward to her train to the cooler north tomorrow!
