The sub tropical gardens around yesterday's D'Oyly Carte home in Devon consist of 24 acres of woodland, formal and informal planting, pathways, steps and led down to the cliff edge at Pudcombe Cove.
Back in the day, the family had a tidal swimming pool down there on their private beach. Such an appealing and beautiful garden, it reminded me of Tresco and the Abbey Gardens on the Isles of Scilly.
That's me and the Young Fella having a rest in that wooden shelter.
Every single photo in your very lovely collage would be stand-alone gorgeous! I especially love the light on the large green leaves and the photo of those steps! But all are very beautiful and your collage is delightful to the eye! ❤️
A great collage and captures of these wonderful gardens. Looks a wonderful place to visit. I would love to have my own tidal swimming pool one day- sigh.
