As requested. This is way back in the archives. 31st October 2010. On the rowing boats at Bowness in the Half Term holiday. It rained so much, the drain covers were lifted up on the road here and balanced like balsa wood on fountains and our holiday cottage just a few yards away flooded in the passageway and kitchen!
@johnfalconer Once you get in the rhythm, it's fine! Always amused to watch tourists taking out rowing boats and either dropping the oars, or moving them out of synch with each other or most amusing of all....going round in circles! Even better for me in this shot as the boys wanted to row first!
Ahh - what super images. All three are marvellous, but I think your happy face in the third is the winner by a tiny margin from the second one with the little fella peeking around your hubby's shoulder.
Excellent!!! The first one's great, like "this is a boat". Second one's lovely with the peep over the shoulder - and the third one's a classic lady of leisure enjoying someone else's labour! Great Autumn colours and wonderful memories AND (obviously) ENTIRELY due to me!!!!!!!
@anniesue Glad you enjoyed it! When I saw your photo, I knew it was the same place and the same boats! Definitely entirely down to you LOL. Next time we are up there, we will come and say hello!
