Sycamore Gap

This tree is growing in the gap of Haidrians Wall. It is one of the most photographed trees in the UK and is a few hundred years old. It’s other name is the Robin Hoods Tree. It was in the film Prince of thieves and the video of the film. Wikipedia has a page on its history.
My granddaughter took the photo on a geography field trip for UNI so she’s helping me out until I get around a bit easier.
