I’m new here, since mid March….. I would appreciate some advice on making a collage. I have an iPad, iPhone that I take most of my photos with, also a
Canon SX720 HS.
Do I have to buy an app? If so I need a simple one.
If you use Lightroom/Photoshop then collages can be produced using Photoshop. There are a few methods of creating them. If you go onto YouTube and search using 'Photoshop Collage, ' several videos go through the process.
If you don't have Lightroom/Photoshop there are a number of Apps in the Apps Store; some are free others have to be purchased.
I use PhotGrid. I use it all of the time on my iPad and there are some great additional editing features that I am still learning. It is free but I pay for an upgrade but it is not expensive. I will look and see if I can find the price. If you look at my two albums you will see that I regularly use this collage maker. Good luck in finding one that works for you. I have tagged you into a couple of my recent PhotoGrid collages. I am not on commission and have no affiliation other than being a user of this app.🤣
@illinilass I use the same program as @summerfield. It's really easy to work with and has some nice layouts. I think the basic program is free; the premium will give you more options and it's a yearly fee of $45 the last time I remember (could be a bit more- I don't always trust my memory!). It offers more than just collages and it's a very user-friendly program to get your "post-processing feet" wet.
I love Diptic. It has lots of different styles. It’s really easy to use. I can’t remember the price, but I believe under $5 US and it doesn’t need a subscription.
