Ok so what is TT? I've seen people mention it. How does it work? I have realized that there is a PP. Who finds the work for PP? How does that work? I've seen some amazing photos on PP and am thrilled with seeing them. Am I missing things on here that I should know about?
From what I see it, only ace members get to be on PP. I think it is okay that it's like that. I could be wrong but it's something that draws non-ace members to want to up their membership a notch higher. I am non-ace and I think that I won't get a chance to be on PP. Just saying.
But good news is that TT is for everyone, ace and non-ace! Yey!!! :D
PP is also for every one. I was on there prior to going ACE. Its just a formula type thing of how many views, comments, Favs etc that no one knows but everyone has a chance at it. @rafaseno
@rafaseno PP isn't limited to Ace. It has to do with a combination of favs, comments, and who knows what else. But it's definitely not just for Ace members. Ace isn't a factor at all.
@rafaseno Jann and Mandy are quite right as far as I can see... I hit the PP when I'd only been here a month or two and was non-ace, (with an unusual sky shot). It's a bit random I think but I've heard that it helps if you send cake. On the other hand, the TT is about actual numbers within a weekly bracket, or so I've heard. You might have to send cake for that too, not sure. :)
@rafaseno--PP and TT isn't only for Ace---this guy- arefin / wind_of_the_sothern_sea- has been Up there gazillion times...and he's not Ace... but his arts are all A+..so don't worry,pumpkin--someday,you'll be there Up too---patience,patience---:)
@megmills Have you checked out the Blog page? That's where Ross and others post some useful info and tips and the Top Twenty is posted plus there is a section for weekly themes. These pages could be difficult to notice if your browsing with a mobile/cell phone.
@rafaseno I am an ace member now but before I was I actually had a photo on the pp. just wanted to let you know it's not an ace members only club:) anyone can get on there, from my experience it has to do with the amount of comments and favs you get on a photo within a certain time frame and of course the mood of those magic monkeys!
Oh my, I'm getting popular now because of my comment, I guess. Lols. Thank you guys, now I know that I will definitely get a chance to be on the PP page! Whoopie!!
@rafaseno Im not ace but have been on there a few times now. It seems random, sometimes shots only have 14 comments and 2 favs and end up on there while shot with triple the amount dont.....very strange but then..thats the monkey for ya.
@alisonp I hear you Alison, Im still not ace, but as a new member I think you are often on the "new faces' page and get more views, hence the comments and favs. I had several pp shot early on but only a few in the later half of my 365 journey.
