Has anyone else noticed the fab new look to the popular page? Or has it been so long since I checked it that I never noticed? Well done, Ross! love seeing pics in the larger format! @scrivna
I hardly ever look at the popular page but it sure has changed since I did check it out last. Not sure if I prefer the new or the old, I do like that the pics are larger but not liking the scrolling and I kind of liked seeing all the pics together as they were before.

LOVE the new look! I had pretty much given up on the PP after the trending page started. The larger format really highlights the pics so much better. Thank you, Ross!
I love it! There was something to be said for seeing your photo in that smaller images collage format...it made them all look so GOOD, including yours, and you would think "Wow, my pic is up there amidst all those amazing pics." So we just lost that. But, I like the large pics already opened up so we can see them.
@scrivna Is there a problem with the new PP ? My latest photo that appeared on there has suddenly disappeared, yet is still at a high position (according to the link that Alexis Birkill made ) I'm not really bothered by it, just wondering if there is a glitch in the new layout ? Thanks, Caz

(Also, I will be another note of dissent on the new design - doesn't render well on my netbook or tablet, and I rather liked seeing them all together. Easier for one to catch your eye than scrolling a long, long list.)

Please don't blame Ross for this -- my tool is completely unauthorised and unofficial, and it's entirely expected that it will break if there's a layout change.
I've updated my page to process the new layout and hopefully continue to provide the same statistics, but it'll take a few hours to make sure I am able to get the same level of detail regarding how photos move up and down in popularity. Please do let me know if you spot any problems with it.
I'm one of the minority that prefers the old PP... I liked the collage. I agree you can see the photos better on this one. Just a matter of getting used to it I guess.
@scrivna Hi Ross, I am wondering if the algorithms for PP still work with the new format. As the pictures are so nice and big now, there is no need to 'view' them. I find that I get quite a few fav's on some pictures, but they don't come up on PP.
