Oh yes! That's was a touch challenge. My gif: http://365project.org/projectx/365/2015-10-03
I was told to use max 1024 widht and height. Somehow it didn't work and I made it even smaller 550px square to get it working on Ipad and iphone. Something changed because my iphone doesn't show the animation anymore :-(
Strange is the fact that your gif only runs once. I believe it working ok but your loop isn't set 'forever'....
I think it's important to get a size which will be used as original in the normal pageview. If the site decides to use a bigger (desktop) or smaller (thumbnail) the resized jpegs will be used without animations.
@mastermek
I use GraphicConverter. My all time favourite.
But GIF controls - those were well hidden...
I managed to find the loop setting, finally:
Yay! :-)
I did this with a compact, thinking I was actually holding it very steady, which it turns out, I was not at all. Still, the end result was pretty funny. Now, that I know what to do, I'll probably try again... ;-p and maybe with a cellphone...? :-p
Huh... that's a good idea, actually; I'll try making it smaller...
I tried reducing size by 50% several times...
x2; doesn't seem to work:
x3; I got it to dance once:
x4; also got this o dance once:

I wonder if the number of frames (I used 9) might have anything to do with it...?

@espyetta I'm sure it's all about size!
I think you might be right about the size...
