Welcome, welcome. This community is so wonderful and supportive. I have learned so much over the past 3 years from viewing other's work/posts and just making art. The challenges offered are helpful when creativity and inspiration is hiding. You can always ask one of us how we did what we did or what a particular acronym means. Take images and make art.
If you go to browse then scroll down to who to follow, is a good way to start, You can usually find someone who may take photos that particularly interest you. I find most people once followed, will follow you back. And as everyone else above has said, it's a great community, and very addictive! I'm on my 3rd year now.

Welcome to 365! Everyone else has pretty much covered it... just start posting and finding styles you might like to follow. Looking through newbies is a great way as they too will be looking for people to follow. Great friendships to be made along the way too.
Welcome to 365! I have completed my first year and on to my second year. I only use an iPhone but still love the experience and my gratitude and appreciation for all the beauty that surrounds us. I recommend to just begin and take photos of what inspires you or what you love. And look at the photos of others to give you ideas of composition techniques, lighting, depth of field, points of view and editing. Most of all, enjoy and have fun! It will slowly evolve into your own style and the type of project you want to do. Some document their daily lives, others prefer architecture or landscapes, birds, insects, family, graphic design, etc. Follow your passion...there are no set rules.
@lilbrituk Welcome to 365. A lovely community where you can comment, get comments and just 'meet' some lovely people. It is not like those social media places where people are out to pick fault. I'm in my second year and although don't always manage to post on the same day ti does make me keep going and catch up if I have been busy. It also makes me learn things by getting my camera or laptop out when I might not otherwise.
I think it's nice to know a little about the person who is behind the photos if you are happy to share on your profile. Happy snapping! 😄
