I noticed that PicMonkey is changing. They are now wanting to charge $5.99/month, $9.99/month or $24.99/month depending on your preference. It has a ton more features and you can do a lot on it, BUT. I am but a humble dabbler, and I don't need all that. Also, $72/year is a pretty steep price for me. I hate to stop using it, but it seems the time has come. Anyone know of a free or inexpensive photo editor I can use? My abilities and time are limited, so it has to be SIMPLE. Thank you for your suggestions!
If you have an Apple computer or iPad you can use the built in photo editor. If you have a windows or an Android device you may want to give the Google photo editor a go.
As an Ace member you get the basic Picmonkey for free. Upload your picture to 365 and then in the right hand column select "edit in Picmonkey". When you're finished on Picmonkey you can then save the photo back on to 365. If you want a version in your computer, then from 365 left click on your photo, select "save image as" and so on...

I don't know if anyone has tried Affinity but it looks amazing - it's a once off flat fee, no subscription, very reasonably priced, and they're doing 20% off at the moment https://affinity.serif.com/en-us/photo/desktop/ so it would be €43.99 or approx $50
I use FastStone, free to download just a request for a one-off donation. Does all I need.

They also have a designer app and a free beta version of their new publisher https://affinity.serif.com/en-us/
I must say I'm intrigued, even though I have Photoshop & Lightroom, if anyone has it I'd love to find out if it's as good as it looks!
