@sarahhorsfall Sarah- are you sure that this never had a comment. Here's the reason I ask. I went back to the beginning of my 365 project to find the earliest photo that never received a comment and pictures that I know had comments on them, no longer have comments on them. So I'm wondering if that may have happened to you too. Just a thought.
@olivetreeann@scrivna You make a point, Ann, about which I've been curious. In the recent purging of followers, were comments removed that those people once left, and, Ross, were we able to retain those people's photos we faved?
Well, I'm on day 358 and this one on day 3 still has no comments. But I totally understand that, I even wonder why people started following me if I made such rubbish pictures...
@olivetreeann I'm thinking the same, I'm almost certain some pictures did had some comments and now they're gone... But maybe it's just my imagination.

It has 70-ish views though, which I find to be interesting. @sarahhorsfall I think next you should do a thread on everybody's worst photo that has the most comments. Surely my ham bone photo tops that category.
After starting on 1st January, my first photo to get a comment was the one for 20th January (and it's still got just 19 views to this day... hahahaha). Perhaps that's a record in and of itself! ;-)
i have LOTS of photos that have no comments - and for good reason! haha.
this is the first one I ever posted even though, for some odd reason, it says Day Two.

This was my first photo... didn't get any comments. It's from the 8th of January. I went in later and back-posted to the first so my year could be Jan. 1- Dec. 31.
Mine is posted for 12/19/10 (taken on 12/26...i was going to backfill December instead of starting on Xmas day, but decided later not to) - it has 1 fav but no comments
@httpgeffed I'm not sure, except that I remember Bill Dodsworth and Rick Schies both followed me almost immediately after I posted my first picture and they left comments on it welcoming me to 365. But those comments are no longer there. And there are no comments on most of my early pictures. But I know there were people making comments on them. Not massive amounts of people, but 1 or 2 at least.
I think that most 365ers are too nice to say what they really think about this one....so they say nothing at all! lol (I had the shakes and didn't care and now this one of those photos where I ask myself why the h did I post this!)
I started on January 1st 2011 and had to go search day by day to find out the answer to your question. As it turns out my first shot with no comments is this one taken 9-8-11.

Interesting - I had to go look. The second picture I ever posted was on February 14, 2010 and it has never been commented on. It's also not very good so it doesn't bother me much. Ironically, comments don't start showing up until February 19th. My very first picture was also bad but it got a comment after the fact when the looker looked back a bit.
My first "comment-free" post was on day 93 ~ I have the most wonderful, supportive followers! And I'd have to agree, this was not one of the most inspired shots...some days are like that! Lol!
My shot from January 2nd, or, as I like to refer to it, A Load of Crap, has yet to receive any comments. I can't understand why. It's obviously amazing. Well composed, super creative, impressive lighting and focus, and sooc to boot!
It was the second photo I ever posted on the site. When I posted it I thought it was the best photo ever. However, after 2 months of posting I can already tell how much I have grown!
Fun thread. My first photo with no comments was the 11th Jan with over 90 views. I had a few earlier ones but one sweet girl commented on a whole bunch of my earlier photos about a month ago.
My first upload hasn't been commented on, but had just bought the camera and still had to become friends with it ;-)

Day 1 (of 276) and still no comments... However I did get a comment on my second post. Also, I post many of my photos on Facebook and get quite a few comments there... but they are not the same as what I get from my fellow 365-ers.

I have a couple photos that I am ashamed of and this is one of them! Why did I bother? I was sick...low light and the shakes makes for bad photos. 61 views and not even a 'better luck next time' lol
