First off, a humongous thank you to everyone who voted for my picture in etsooi-26! As an editing junkie, i am very very honoured :) And now it is time for round 27.
ETSOOI is an acronym that was started by MaryBeth @espyetta that means edit the $h!t/stuffing/sorriness out of it.. It is the war cry of those of us who are hopelessly PS addicted and here on 365 we like nothing more than to feed those addictions.
In the past, a theme has been set for the etsooi challenges, but over the winter holidays, no theme was set, and this appears to have resulted in an increased interest - so i am going to go themeless again for this round... if you have thoughts on a theme vs. no theme approach, please weigh in for consideration of future challenges...
So, your challenge is to ETSOOI in a way that creates an intriguing image of your choice, emphasizing any aspect of image/content/editing of your choice!
This challenge starts tomorrow (January 10th) and will run through to next Friday evening (17th January). I'll announce the finalists for voting on Saturday the 18th with voting taking place over 2 or 3 days...
You are free to enter as many shots as you like, the only rule being that your shot must have been taken within this time frame. The winner will receive the honor of hosting the next ETSOOI challenge.
All pictures should be tagged ETSOOI-27 and please feel free to post your shots on this thread as inspiration for others.
My attempt! Changed white balance and upped exposure in RAW editor, then fiddled with levels and contrast in PSE. In Picasa added Holga-ish and then posterised. Again fiddled with the sliders to get desired effect. Over all I quite like it.
Oh yay, it worked! Okay, using my iPad mini and some free photo app, the above was originally an electric stove burner. Hope that's appropriate for the challenge....
