Pfew, what a March! I don't know about you, but I have yet to see a sign of Spring here. Captured this for unusual macro this month since a) it's now spring and b) it's also next to a frost-covered plastic bottle, not a typical subject.



So many great macro shots again this week (400+), and I loved the range of unusual subjects: chains, instruments, TV remotes, spoons, and more! Check them out yourself at the macro-march3 tag, or look back at macro-march2 and macro-march for even more ideas and inspiration.

To keep up with new shots, let's go ahead and update to the tag, macro-march4 for March 22-28th. If you've already uploaded shots, feel free to edit your tags accordingly.

Finally, if you want, we are having an optional "mini theme" for each week. Our last two themes were "thinking about backgrounds" and last week's "unexpected macro." For this week, the mini theme is "bucket list macro." What's that macro shot that you've always wanted to capture? Giant drops of water reflecting? The perfect butterfly? A giant nasty bug looking cool and pretty? Take the time this week, make a plan, and knock some bucket list shots off your list!

I know bucket list macro was last week but I just got a bucket lilts macro shot this morning I think. Need to upload to computer and see...it was a TINY assassin bug supping on a tiny, feathery antennae-d mosquito type bug . Will post later. Thanks for hostingt macro march! Wish I had had time to be more active with it
