I have chosen this artist because I have very fond memories of visiting his exhibition in London with my sister - I don't get to many exhibitions and can't pretend to know a lot about art so I plumped for him. Charlie Waite is largely recognized for his landscape shots - carefully prepared shots, waiting for the perfect light, season and perspective and achieving an almost 'painterly' effect. There are also shots of interiors, buildings and architectural details in his gallery showing a masterful play of light and shadow, harmonious composition and blended colours (with the occasional addition of a human or animal) So if you like to go big with glorious landscapes or smaller with details of buildings and the like, I hope you can find something to inspire you.

@kali66 Great videos! I started out here on 365 with a very little point and shoot and at first thought it to be an obstacle to great photography. But I ended up learning a lot from that little camera and now I sometimes opt to use my point and shoot instead of the "better" cameras I have. Hearing his commentary was really inspirational!
Thank you Catherine. This photographer is a real artist and a fantastic discovery for me! I will try to participate, this challenge is so inspirational.
@farmreporter Hi Wendy - thanks for the nudge - i will get on to this this week - apologies for the delay but went to my sisters wedding in England and brought back a particularly vicious cough and cold.

Hope you are feeling better soon - air travel always makes me sick as well with all the 'international' bugs I am not used to.
