I am going to try and push my photographic thinking skills by creating abstract photos for the month. Feel free to join me in this new challenge. I am labeling the photos "abstractaugust"
Yep!! And to add insult to injury, my shot really isn't even considered a true abstract... just used this thread for more shameless self promotion... sorry @brumbe , I'm a bad bad boy :-(
@keithdavid great to finally "meet" you, seems you are all the talk here on this here site. Also glad to see another non-conformist who likes to cause a bit of trouble.
Can someone please teach me how to post a pic.. ever since I started 365, I've never learned how to post a pic in a discussion... :| but anyway.. hope for someone to teach me how.. here's the link of my first entry. Thanks in advance! :) http://365project.org/rylenlui14/365/2011-08-02
@rylenlui14 Ryan, go to your picture. At the bottom there is a code. Copy the code by highlighting and then right clicking on copy (make sure you have copied the entire code as they're very long. It sometimes takes a couple of tries) Then come on this page, right click and copy and once you've posted your reply your photo should appear :o)
"LOVE" This abstract (above) was originally shot as a brightly colored, partially inflated hot air balloon. It was intentionally shot out of focus and with camera motion. Hence the soft colors. The color is SOOC. The manipulation into the heart form took five clicks in Photoshop Elements 9, the vignette and frame, two clicks in Picnik. Dedicated to the 365ers, who are such an inspiration. Thanks guys!!!
I am really enjoying participating in the Abstract August challenge - it is really pushing me to look at the world differently. Here is my third abstract photo.
@hasli - go to your photo and click and copy the link which is located at the bottom right hand side of the screen. Once you have copied it return to this page and paste the link into the box and then hit post reply. Your photo will appear. Good luck.
Psssst. Keith. It's abstract AUGUST!
It's still July.
@webfoot
Oh. I see. Non conformist is the same as NO filter. I get it now.
