i didn't get to carve my big pumpkin :( it's now defrosting because i had it outside and it got burried in all the snow
but here's al little pumpkin i carved for a pumpkin decorating contest at work
This is my first year in over 30 or so that I didn't carve a pumpkin....ok make that 28 or so, since I'm sure I wasn't carving my first few years.
I almost cried last night since Halloween just isnt' the same without trick -or- treating, leaves fallen from the trees, that cold tang to the air, bare branches creaking in the wind, kids dressed up in costumes, older kids dressed up in costumes that *don't* make them look like they should be arrested.......Wore a costume to my ballet class last night, teacher looked at me like I was nuts for a second then laughed and asked "halloween" I nodded and I think he felt a lot better.
my son's first real Halloween. I call it a first since he got to pick out his own pumpkin to decorate for this year during his first year in school. who wouldn't want to share something like this?
