Hi everyone
Well, I am back from my travels and thought I’d better post the finalists for the latest mundane challenge.

Thanks so much to everyone who posted shots for the challenge, there was a really great selection to choose from. You can see all the entries here: mundane-cupmug

Whilst I was away in Europe I encountered an amazing array of different mugs and cups, so I have chosen 5 finalists (in no particular order), showing a range of different techniques, povs and types of our favourite mug or cup.

Voting will continue until Tuesday 1st September and I will announce the winner shortly thereafter. Please vote as usual by using the number in the comment. The winner will host and select the item for the next mundane challenge

It's amazing that such wonderful images can be created from simple mugs! I love all of the shots, so voting is tough; but I've decided to vote for number 2.
