Today was a great day as I was really busy and it felt good! My first job was to photograph the house of friends who are selling up. It was hard work as the rooms needed to be cleared one at a time so that the shots did not look cluttered. The light was not great so I used my flash as a fill in. I took well over 140 images in the end although I shall edit them right down. I was so touched that Sarah insisted on paying me there and then and gave me a lovely bunch of flowers - she hasn’t even seen the images yet!
Afterwards it was over to Richmond and then Twickenham for the monthly card counts at Waterstones and to catch up with my friends working there.
Then back home for a swift lunch before a last minute job to take head shots for a neighbour who wants to update her social media and workplace presence. It was quite fun as I only had to travel 4 doors down the street and we worked indoors. She is actually very photogenic and has a great chin and profile. We tried a variety of background and she changed her top a few times so she has got a number of different looks. I was pleased with the results - I hope she will be as well once she sees the edited highlights!
