I am listening to an audiobook, Miller's Valley, where the narrator talks about how well cows listen to people. They don't get excited like dogs; they don't ignore you like cats (my addition to the subject!); they just listen.... This guy at the Rural Life Museum just kept eating as I talked to him--but he did not ignore me like my cats would have! 😉
That's interesting, but it makes sense. I was in VT a few years back and photographing some cows in a field. I said hello to them and all came right to the fence! Good shot.
