This week I was asked to scout some houses in Arabi, a small town east of New Orleans. Many homes flooded during Hurricane Katrina in 2005; some were renovated, others demolished. On the vacant lots, pretty cottages are being built, revitalizing the neighborhood.
They look lovely. Amazing that after years and years of planning and building an area it is 'cleaned up ' by nature in a few hours for the cycle to begin once more with lots of hope for a better future.
Sometimes it takes a while but life will resume. The new cottages look really nice- I hope they will become a home for someone who enjoys them. Nice collage!
