I'm sharing this info because it may help someone else. My doctor prescribed the antiviral Paxlovid, available for people over 65 or with pre-existing conditions. In my first bout of Covid, I did not test early enough and did not start Paxlovid as soon. This time, I tested early, consulted my doctor immediately and started the med the same day. I think it helped, or maybe I just had a light case.
