@bkbinthecity Thanks! It really is interesting, especially to someone like me who likes old houses and came from a part of the U.S. where houses weren't moved very often. Larger houses are sometimes partially dismantled and then reassembled at the new site. Often traffic lights or wires are in the way and have to be lifted. It can also cause huge traffic jams!
One of my former jobs was to plan the routes for removal homes here in Brisbane. Fun to plan avoiding the low wires, bridges, rail crosssings etc. This brings back some memories!
That must be quite a sight to see. I've also been noticing a few folks having fun with thrift store cameras- I am going to keep my eyes open when I have some spending money!
