For Juneteenth

Saint John the Baptist church was built in the 1870's by the Black families who lived in Dorseyville, Louisiana after the Civil War. Within twenty years they built a school across the street for grades one through seven. (In my main album https://365project.org/eudora/365/2024-06-19 )
It is still an active church. There were signs for upcoming Vacation Bible School.
How neat that it is still an active church.
