I'll assume in the beetle world canoodling in the fennel in the middle of the field is a done thing because I had my pick of any number of beetle couples to photograph this morning. I chose the one I didn't have to bend over or contort in order to photograph.
I love the oranges of the beetles against the bluey-greens of the fennel and the lovely neutrals of the wheat field. I looked for ages to find the name of the beetle but was unsuccessful.
Super capture and detail FAv.
