I decided to go ahead and try a different angle as the sun was beginning to set. I like the moodiness of the B/W and the way the rocks in the foreground are "fogged."
I was going to take another one, but the waves were beginning to encroach on the bit of beach I was sitting on.
@kali66 Lol, no! When my boys were small, and we had a grey and gloomy day, it invariably led to the four of us cuddled on the couch reading books. One of their favorites was Winnie the Pooh. For some reason, I started saying, "It's a grey and gloomy day in Poohville." when that happened. They are 26, 27 and 30 and all still use the phrase. Good memories.
@dkbarnett Thank you so much! I am glad that the things that I love about this image are the things that you find pleasing.
@milaniet Thank you very much! I very much enjoy photographing this pier. Of course, that could have something to do with being able to sit by the sea in near solitude, listening to the waves and breathing in peace. :)
