I finally took some time to photograph my Nativity which I made umpteen years ago. My mom has never seen it because we have lived overseas for all these years.
One year I made 12 of these. They each took 40-50 hours. When my husband called me during that time, he would ask what I was doing, and I would say, "making Mary heads, donkey legs or king crowns." It always made him laugh.
This is a tough year for us. For the first time in 34 years, my husband is away for Christmas. This is also the first Christmas since my sister died and my boys are all celebrating in the US.
I wish I had had a better backdrop...the radiator is not that attractive!
@maggiemae I am sorry to hear about your sister. I will be praying for you and your family in the days and weeks to come. I am also sending you warm wishes, happy vibes and a big hug for this difficult season.
