I saw this caterpillar on the flowers outside my workshop this morning, but I kept getting called to do forty-eleven other things by various people so when I went back to take a photo, he wasn't where he had been. Not to be deterred, I looked carefully and found him hiding a couple of stems over. I love the way the dry morning glories in the background accent the colors of his body.
He has a great disguise. It is just wonderful the way these small creatures adapt to their environment to protect themselves. The colour of your background, as you say, is great for this shot.
