My challenge this week from April was a pet portrait - one of the nicest challenges I've ever had!
This shot is Darcey aged 9 weeks. One of April's tips to get your pet's attention was to make the noise of a whimpering puppy - and this is the result, Darcey looking quite perplexed! Terrific tip, thanks April:)

Hope you like the above, I played with a few Nik filters to disguise the fact her chest fur was wet after having fallen in the pond (again) ... Felicity
@samae She's a border collie so medium size I guess. Hopefully quite long fur, her mum was long haired and a stunner but they wouldn't let me have her! And yes, I expect she will shed but few dogs shed as much as Shelties do! I get through a lot of vacuum cleaners over the years,:)
@suzanne234 Oh no! Tally's nose was definitely put out of joint ... I don't think either of the girls particularly like her and Tally has told her off repeatedly. The vet assures me they will all get along eventually ...
@fbailey Oh poor Tally, I guess there is bound to be some sibling rivalry but deep down they'll love each other really! My sons cat was furious when the kitten came along but they are now inseparable. Give it a week or so and they'll be used to the newbie :)
@golftragic Bearing up under the onslaught thanks, I think we all are! I'd forgotten what hard work they are for the first few weeks or should that be months??
@fbailey I suspect the latter FB. I must confess that's why we prefer to get young adult rescue dogs that are over the puppy stage, cute as the latter are.
Aww thank you! Phojo is still missing and I was getting a little stressed with it, so I decided to decorate the front room, I actually like decorating, how odd is that:) anyway now the rest of the house looks a bit sorry. So by the time I've spruced the rest up the phojo should be back with a vengeance! Ta ever so for asking x
