My Get Pushed challenge this week came from Tina who asked for a colourful photograph. The weather has been grey and miserable for much of this week but Friday was reasonable so I headed to Folkestone in search of colour. The first three shots are of an extremely colourful mural (or part of a mural) which is painted along the wall of a children's playground. The second picture is the Folkestone Lightbulb, by Michael Craig-Martin, which was commissioned by the Creative Foundation for the 2017 Triennial. It sits at the bottom of the old High Street and Tontine Street and makes a very colourful statement.
@tstb13 Hi Tina, I hope you like the above and it is colourful enough for you:) I live in a small village surrounded by cabbage fields and mud, so I had to wrack my brains rather to find a colourful subject! Felicity
I love the street art...makes everything look so colourful all the time! Soon time for No Limit here...a group of artists come to the city and paint the sides of buildings...love the art they produce
cool murals.
I do love a nice mural :)
