I spotted the raindrops on this plant as Katharine and I walked through the Homestead Park in York a few days ago. I've no idea what the plant is, but I was intrigued by the way the raindrops form almost perfect globes. It is interesting how raindrops interact with the leaf surfaces of different plants in a variety of different ways.
Thank you all for your lovely comments and favs, they are very much appreciated.
Thank you too for suggestions about what the plant might be. I'm planning to ask one of the gardeners whan I see them working in that part of the gardens. They always seem happy to talk about the plants in their care and they are very knowledgable.
