Beside the River Ouse in York, close to Cliffords Tower, is a small area of garden. As you can see, it is temporarily covered by flood water, giving a nice opportunity for reflection photo of the double row of trees beside the riverside cycle route.
Most of the road past is at a higher level than the garden, with just a small area near the north-east corner of the garden where flood water can spread onto the road. Large sand bags and a pump prevent that.
Windy weather over the weekend mean that the trees are becoming stripped of their leaves.
Flood water is now receeding, and if nothing else the flood water will wash away the droppings of the large number of Canada Geese which congregate in this garden!
Lovey reflections
Thak you all for your lovely comments and favs, they are very much appreciated.
