I wish you joy of your new camera. I too have a mirrorless (called 'hybride' here in France) and love it. Would be interested to hear your opinion when you have had a chance to get used to it.
@helenhall Thanks, Helen, no wasn't the new camera lost in the carseats...the small, carry everywhere point & shoot. The new one is still too daunting to take every where!
@laroque Hi Tim, good to know you really like the "hybrid/mirrorless"...I'll let you know as I go along. I am getting more comfortable with it but then was sick for a week and need to get back into it. a quick question...I'm worried about getting dust onto the sensor when changing lenses...any hints?
@granagringa Turn the camera off to de-energise the sensor. Hold it so the open lens fitting is pointing downwards. Do it quickly (so have the new lens ready with the cap llose or off). Don't change lenses when in a high wind, dusty atmosphere, near sources of ater droplets. Not had much trouble with mine, and solved by using a blower rather than a wipe).
