Yay, learned something new about focusing on the Sony A6000...for the b&w technique shadows..(ok, I got more info about focusing, but have to figure out how to set the camera itself for monochrome...this was done in color and changed to b&w in post. )
It's nice to see you having such success with your new camera! It's funny - this reminds me of when I had my new camera and you were kind enough to give me so many clues about how to use it - unfortunately I have no hope of returning the kindness. LOL I always like your photos with your little mannequin... Cheers Rob
You're onto something here ... the shadow is an echo of the figure. Worth playing with relative positions of figure and lamp. I'd want to figure out how to make this more starkly black and white to give t more punch.
You're getting better and better with you camera. Looks like you had lots of fun with this mannequin and his shadow. Nicely done!! Sorry I haven't been around but I had lots of fun catching up on all your photos! :)
@robz Thanks, Rob and it does me remind me of those days...now I need a me! Help!!! and I think of you often...I was trying to remember how to do ICMs with the point & shoot and had to go back to your pages to figure it out again...and can't figure out how I did it even after you told me! lol.. So thanks for being with me on this journey...
@cjphoto You really me to heart...thank you for commenting on so many shots...I know it is so time consuming and so glad you found the time and glad you had fun catching up...I need to do the same. It is so nice having you with me here....
@granagringa - What a nice thing to say!! I was feeling down about getting so behind on commenting on yours and everyone else's projects but that really lifted my spirits. So much fun supporting and having your support in this project.
