Feeding Time. by happypat

Feeding Time.

I went to a lovely meal this lunchtime given by the local historical society. The setting was this local country hotel with beautiful grounds. These lamas were grazing the fields but as soon as they saw the man in the distance they ran as fast as they could , which was surprisingly fast, to the gate for their tea !
It has been a lovely day here & I think the last few days of warm weather according to the weather forecast !
Nicely framed by that magnificent tree. Those sheep have very long necks!

Lovely composition and processing Pat. It's funny because I nearly posted alpacas the other day. Very sweet but one was black so it was hard to see the features.

@judithg Goodness Judith are they alpacas ..I did wonder if I had the name right when I was writing this !!!

@happypat Oh - I don't know - our local alpacas are a bit bigger I think. Alpacas & lamas are one and the same in my book! I know 'ours' are alpacas because there's a sign up!

enjoy the nice weather this weekend pat, be sure to make use of it with your camera.

Lamas in Lancashire look good through your lens :)

I love how you capture the rural mood of where you live Pat. Even though we live on different sides of the world, the look of where we live, is not all that different. The llamas would certainly have known which one of you to be most attentive to, given that the other guy had their lunch! Glad you had a lovely day. Our spring weather has been really fickle and this week it has been quite chilly. They are predicting temperatures in the high 20's (celsius) next week, so we are in for quite a change. No wonder people all around me, are getting colds.

What a stunning trees to frame this scene, made me think of my poddy calves, both going ok and learning to come when I arrive with the green bottle.
